Black Canadian Creators Team Up with Sleepless Studios to Amplify Black Creative Talent Across Canada

Toronto’s Sleepless Studios and Black Canadian Creators (BCC) are joining forces in a new partnership designed to address the lack of access, visibility, and space for Black creatives across Canada. This initiative unlocks exclusive studio access, discounted rates, and curated programming for BCC’s growing community of podcasters, photographers, DJs, producers, and digital storytellers.

Sleepless Studios was founded with a mission to help creativity thrive, offering affordable, 24/7 studio space to meet artists where they are. This partnership makes it easier than ever for BCC members to access those tools—empowering them to produce, connect, and grow their creative practice in a professional setting.

“This partnership is about creating real opportunity,” says Sherley Joseph, founder of Black Canadian Creators. “For years, BCC has been building a trusted, engaged, and talented community of creators across Canada. This collaboration with Sleepless Studios gives our members access to the tools, space, and visibility they deserve—at an affordable rate.”

Bi-Annual Signature Events
Twice a year, BCC will host creator-focused events at Sleepless Studios—including live podcast recordings, hands-on workshops, and networking nights. These events celebrate both emerging and established Black creatives while creating space to connect, grow, and be seen.
