This year, Honey Jam—Canada’s first and longest-running artist-development program for emerging women—hits a major milestone: 30 years! On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, they’re taking over the legendary Massey Hall (178 Victoria St.) for a once-in-a-generation celebration called INSPIRATIONS. Doors swing open at 7 PM, and the music starts at 8 PM sharp.

Who is the Honey Jam founder?
Ebonnie Rowe is the founder and Executive Director of Honey Jam, Canada’s first and longest-running non-profit artist-development program for emerging female performers. Since launching Honey Jam in 1995, she’s championed thousands of Black and diverse women in music—offering mentorship, vocal coaching, industry workshops, and high-profile showcase opportunities. In 2025, she was named to the Order of Canada in recognition of her three-decade contribution to Canada’s cultural landscape.
Why Honey Jam Matters to Black Canadian Creators
Honey Jam isn’t just a concert: it’s a launchpad. From Nelly Furtado and Jully Black to Haviah Mighty and LU KALA, alumni have built careers on this stage.
