You should know
If you’re a Black Canadian filmmaker, actor, screenwriter, director, producer, videographer, film student or digital storyteller, WIBFF is particularly worth knowing about.
Film festivals aren’t only about watching films. They can also be places to meet collaborators, learn how the industry works, build relationships and get your work in front of new audiences.
And having a Black film festival happening in Windsor matters. It creates another Canadian space where Black stories aren’t sitting on the sidelines — they’re the programming.
Who should attend
WIBFF is relevant for filmmakers, actors, writers, producers, directors, content creators, film students, industry professionals and anyone interested in Black cinema and storytelling.
