Creating a village through art, intergenerational wisdom, and community.

The Village We Sow is an evening that brings together artists, elders, and community members connected to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti, Palestine, Sudan, and allied communities through storytelling, live performances, and meaningful conversation.

Rooted in the theme “create for change,” the event highlights the power of art as a catalyst for connection and collective action. Throughout the evening, attendees will experience:

• Live music
• Live visual art
• Poetry
• Dance
• Storytelling from community elders
• Intergenerational dialogue

This gathering is designed to strengthen community, celebrate local artists, and plant the seeds for future collaboration and advocacy.
