The session is designed for both writers and visual artists. Whether you prefer putting pen to paper or working with images, you’ll find space to express your vision of African futures.

Why Afrofuturism Matters

Afrofuturism gives Black creators space to reimagine the future on their own terms. Instead of being absent from science fiction narratives, African and Indigenous perspectives take center stage. This workshop celebrates that creative power.
