About the event
Black in Nature: Poetry Walk Series is a two-part wellness experience that combines guided nature walks with poetry writing as a creative and reflective practice.
Designed for Black community members, the series invites participants to slow down, connect with nature, and use the surrounding landscape as inspiration for poetry, intention-setting, and self-reflection. Each walk includes guided prompts, quiet writing moments, and optional sharing.
The second walk takes place on the Spring Equinox, which also coincides with World Poetry Day, adding an intentional seasonal and cultural layer to the experience.
