ADNC Narrative Power Summit

July 25 @ 5:00 pm 11:30 pm

Produced by the African Diaspora News Channel (ADNC), in partnership with Emma Ansah of EA Public Relations, this one-day, high-impact summit is unapologetically about ownership of our stories, our voices, and our influence. In a moment where misinformation, distortion, and erasure are constant, this gathering is designed to equip Black communities with the tools to critically consume media, strategically produce content, and leverage storytelling for real-world impact.

Headlining the Summit is Phillip Scott, Founder & CEO of ADNC, whose leadership has helped build one of the most influential independent Black-owned media platforms today. Under his direction, ADNC has become essential media infrastructure centering truth, accountability, and community power in a media landscape that often does the opposite. His presence anchors the Summit’s core message: Black media isn’t optional, it’s essential.

This marquee event brings together Black journalists, media professionals, artists, activists, policy thinkers, and grassroots organizers from across the African Diaspora who understand a shared reality: whoever controls the narrative controls political, economic, and cultural outcomes.

Attendees will hear from international keynote speakers from the United States, alongside Toronto-based journalists, cultural leaders, and policy influencers actively shaping public discourse. Through dynamic panels, unfiltered conversations, and practical insights, participants will leave with actionable strategies to challenge harmful narratives, counter misinformation, and amplify voices that have historically been sidelined.

Beyond the conversations, the Summit is a full experience. Guests will walk the Black Carpet Media Wall, capture professional photos, enjoy a curated dinner and drinks, and experience live music performances featuring Juno Award–winning artist Carlos Morgan and his band, along with special guest performances. Attendees will also have direct access to the ADNC team behind one of today’s most powerful Black-owned media platforms.

Equal parts strategy, celebration, and community, the ADNC Narrative Power Summit is about building narrative muscle and reminding us that power feels good when it’s finally in our hands
