Joy in a box ✨ The A Sprinkle of Black Girl Magic affirmation deck, created by Eboni Morgan, celebrates self-love and empowerment.

Eboni—author, TEDx speaker, award-winning community architect, and founder of the Black Girl Magic Collective—just dropped a new tool for joy and healing: A Sprinkle of Black Girl Magic, a 52-card affirmation deck designed to remind Black women and girls of our power, our worth, and our magic.

Who Is Eboni Morgan?

If you don’t already know her, Eboni has been shaping safe, healing spaces for Black women for years. Her debut book, A Year of Black Girl Magic (2021), was a love letter to young Black women and girls everywhere. Now, she’s transformed that same energy into something tangible you can hold, shuffle, and return to whenever you need a reminder of your light.

She’s not new to this work either—her impact has been recognized with the SheaMoisture DreamFund Grant, American Express Backing Small Businesses award, and the Alan Shepard Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Award (Toronto Metropolitan University, 2023). In short: she’s building with love and receipts.

What’s Inside the Deck

Four cards, four reminders of our worth. 🌸

This isn’t just another pretty set of cards. Here’s what makes it powerful:

  • 52 Affirmations you can use weekly, daily, or whenever you need grounding.
  • Bold visuals by artist Azetta Young, crafted to radiate joy and pride.
  • Words with intention—each card sparks reflection, journaling, and self-care practices.
  • Built for individuals & communities—perfect for morning routines, workshops, or group circles.

It’s not about saying something nice—it’s about remembering who you already are: magical, powerful, whole.

Why

Representation in wellness isn’t optional—it’s essential. Too often, the tools we see marketed for mindfulness and self-care don’t reflect us. Eboni’s deck disrupts that. It creates space for Black women to see ourselves affirmed, centered, and celebrated. And in a moment where conversations around mental health and community care are urgent, this release could not be more timely.
