Honey Jam presents an intimate executive conversation with Ethiopia Habtemariam, a global music and entertainment executive whose career has centred on discovering talent, developing artists and helping creative businesses grow.

Habtemariam is President of HYBE America, overseeing strategy across its music portfolio, including Quality Control. Her career spans more than two decades in A&R, music publishing and recorded music. She previously served as Chairwoman and CEO of Motown Records and held senior creative leadership roles at Universal Music Publishing Group.

Her work has touched the careers of artists, songwriters and producers across R&B, hip-hop and popular music, while her leadership has focused heavily on artist development, entrepreneurship and building sustainable careers in entertainment.

Why BCCers should know: If you’re a musician, music creator, producer, podcaster covering culture, entertainment journalist or creator trying to understand the business behind creative careers, this is a rare opportunity to hear directly from an executive who has worked across talent discovery, publishing, labels and artist development.

Important: This is an invite-only event, and registration is limited to one ticket per person.
