The King & Queen Showcase is the most dazzling spectacle of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival season—and the official kickoff to Toronto Carnival aka Caribana weekend! 👑
Each year, Mas Band leaders step into the spotlight in massive, ornate costumes, performing before judges and thousands of carnival lovers.
They’re not just modeling—they’re competing for the crown. 💫
From glittering fabrics to jaw-dropping wingspans, these performers bring the heat, dancing in character to soca and calypso rhythms and embodying the themes of their Mas bands. The King and Queen of Carnival are crowned at the end of the night.
